Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alanis has had quite an eventful life even if she's still relatively young. She has loved and lost and loved again. But where most dragonesses get sad, Alanis gets angry.

And she channels her anger and love and sometimes even sadness into powerful songs. While not as experienced as other members of the Moonsilver Artists' Association and not as poetic, she has made a promising start and her clan expects greater things to come.
