Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gorudenbyuti is a glorious golden dragon with shimmering scales that greedy humans covet. She lives in remote parts of the world to hide herself from those humans, but she still gets to be herself and see her scales sparkle in the sunlight. Her favorite thing to do is to soar through the air, twisting and turning to watch her scales catch the light. She has had to change the location of her home a couple times because greedy humans have found her, but she has lived in her current home for many years without issue. Sadly, since she has only come across humans that wish to steal her scales, she has a deep rooted distrust for the two legged species and actively avoids all of their kind.  

Her name means 'Golden Beauty'.
