Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flamim Baleful is a passionate and focused dragon that dedicates most of his time perfecting his fire abilities. Flamim loves to perform for his clan with his intricate fire dances and flames. Flamim has the power of rainbow fire which he incorporates with his fire dances. Rainbow fire is a form of fire that allows one to create and manipulate beautiful multi-colored flames, and has the ability to control all the colors of flame separately. Normally just an aesthetic, it can burn any form of matter; even water. Flamim accidentally discovered this ability when he was training but it seems that, despite teaching it to some fire breathers in his clan, that only a few talented ones can use this ability. Flamim is somewhat close minded as he only wants to interact with clan members that are also creative. He is close friends with Faust Iceborn desertflower, Thomsons lee thom, Rodney Rolls, Toeba Frostflame, Atuplir and, Kat Catherine Kato. These dragons are also friends with each other.
