White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

I.L.L. (as she prefers to be known, as three letters, not as one word) believes all dragons everywhere have the right to read any book from any place anywhere in the world. To that end she has co-opted the efforts of several of Lagie's magi dragons to help her teleport books from wherever they may rest. When Beavers requested a book about dam building, she managed to find him one from a far-off northern land that has many beavers. To her dismay, when the book was returned, it was spotted with drops of water, and I.L.L. ended up paying part of her hoard to the library she'd borrowed the book from. This hasn't stopped her, though, from continuing her efforts.
