Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s clear that night is its favourite time.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Gimme is an absolute sugar addict and quite egotistical when it comes to honey, sweets, cookies, chocolates, and the like. When given the choice between spending time with his favourite aunt or uncle and a candy apple, there really is no choice at all. And he never voluntarily shares his loot with anyone. It's a good thing that he doesn't have his wings yet, so the more sugary food stuff can still be stored outside of his reach, but he has grown pretty ingenious in developing ways to get at the hidden stashes anyway.

In other words Gimme is a typical hatchling.
