Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kuuia is quite a beautiful specimen of her breed. Many males want her to be their mate, including the narcissistic Kuuio, but only one has caught her eye. Crystall Flare spent years gathering gemstones, most often moonstones, sapphires, and citrine quartz, and then performed his aerial dance. When Kuuia saw him, she knew he had to be his mate. Now they are mates for life and have had multiple hatchlings, although all of them have left for more adventures instead of staying home. They are a loving pair together and feel that their family is complete, even if all their children now live far away.
