Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Duskke has always been one to find trouble. So, it was no surprise when he of all dragons upset the balance of the Megistani, to the benefit of the Alvarian Clan. His strength cannot be underestimated however and any time the subject was brought up it was quickly shot down with a challenge,(much to the anger of the rest of the Megistani). He's rather arrogant and enjoys sparring with other dragons, (if they last more than a minute with him they are extremely talented). Duskke is prideful and loyal and rather quick to anger because of it but he is respected for his sense of humor and strength.
