Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

An unusually small Seragamma, the story of this wyvern's life is one of hardship. Once the beloved son of a powerful sire, the young creature witnessed his father's death at the hands of a rival male--and was then promptly thrown into exile, the newcomer wanting none of his enemy's old brood remaining. Betrayed by mother and clan alike, the young hatchling would soon have met his death in the wilderness... if not for the efforts of an older Seragamma hatchling, another disowned male who was looking for companionship. The two became fast friends, living, hunting, and surviving together--until the older male reached adolescence. Attacked by his longtime companion in a fit of explosive, dominant violence, the hatchling barely escaped with his life, betrayed and wounded far more in soul than in body. Now an adult, he still thinks with sad fondness of his old friend, but has long since departed the mountains in search of a more peaceful land.
