Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It gives off an alluring scent that attracts other dragons.

And look! Chocolate-brown fins have grown on its back and tail, and the scent is much stronger now.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

As a young child Elleutherios's parents' relationship fell apart. He was caught in the arguing and fighting. He could not choose a side between his parents and decided it was best to leave. For a long time he hid on his own in the forest, living off small animals that he could catch and plants he could scavenge. It was years before he even saw another dragon again and when he did it was a lonely white dragon who wanted nothing more than to find someone to love. Elleutherios felt horrible to see the poor dragon so upset and agreed to help her. He traveled through the forest looking for someone she could meet. Eventually, he found one and using the sent signature to his kind, he lead the two together. It took time but they ended up happy and even offered him a home. But, he kindly decided to turn it down because he had found direction. He decided he wanted to help as many dragons find each other as he could. That is what he does to this day, acting as a lonely dragons Cupid.
