Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

If someone spotted Ladoriel one day, sitting on her favourite spot one the flat cliff hanging out over the lake, looking at her reflection in the water with (however that is possible for a dragon no one would honestly know)deep satisfaction written all over her face they would think she was shallow. Well, at first they would probably laugh at the picture of a giant dragon smirking in front of her own image like some teenage girl before a party. Anyhow, although Ladoriel is a bit self-centred she is not really that bad. When all the other dragons rush to get first whenever food is served she look at them and wrinkle her nose as she is some kind of Queen at a royal banquet. She hates to fight over food(her guardian assume it is because she is terrified in front of the thought of getting food all over her precious, sparkling scales)as she assumes it should be granted to her first because she is, after all, a royalty.
