Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sing a Different Tune is one of Phoenix's dragons. She has a habit of looking down her nose at dragons that she considers less good-looking than herself. She is very conceited, taking pleasure in sitting in front of a mirror or some other shiny reflective object (such as Crest Outmatching Quaoar, a gold dragon), flaring her frills at herself, and giggling.

Tune has a friendly (or perhaps not-so-friendly) rivalry with Vyra the Proud, and they bicker and argue over everything under the sun, from who is taller to who has the longer tail. Vyra has a slightly cleverer tongue than Tune and tends to outwit her, but whenever she spews a snappy comeback that Tune can't match, Tune need only flare her fins at her opponent and scare her half to death; for some reason, this 'oldest trick in the book' is always successful.

Tune is something of man's lady, but her only permanent mate is Tigernatch, who is most likely the only dragon on the face of the planet that can stand her for very long.
