Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As the eldest of the Red clan, Sarge holds the first position amongst the tribe as the leader. Being the first dragon to establish the Red clan turf as well as recruit other dragons into the clan, he governs everything his clan-mates do and that would include punishment for failure or insubordination. He is very prideful, strict, and protective of his lands, willing to do whatever it takes to maintain his territory and fight off any unwanted intruders. Even if it meant sacrificing the Red clan member Grif, in which Sarge has often attempted due to the dragons laziness. Though he keeps his territory mostly protected, he wants it to expand. This threatens the neighboring Blue clan and the clans often clash but the battle almost always ends with both sides at a stalemate, this is why the Red and Blue clans are big rivals and why Sarge is so determined to defeat them and take what's his.
