Aww... It’s a cute baby drake. It has the colors of a bright summer day.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

SunOfRainbow is, despite its brightly colored scales, a huge pessimist. It is positive that the world will end before the year ends (it says that every year).

Few dragons like to be around SunOfRainbow, for the drake's imagination is active, though quite gory. Whenever a dragon calls its hatchling home and the hatchling does not answer, SunOfRainbow will drearily say that the hatchling has probably been ripped apart by a zombie dragon, or has fallen into a hole to starve to death.
