Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eros lives as one of the Posluga, a servant of the dragons under the title of "High Family". It has been noted that his personality is ever changing. At times he is kind, compassionate, gentle, and giving. On other occasions Eros is violent, unforgiving, demanding, and hurtful; he lashes out both with words and actions, striking others at their core. He always seems to know the deepest desires of those he meets, and due to his turbulent nature this makes him extremely hated and feared by many of the other dragons in Elgar. As an egg, he appeared in one of the many caves located on the plateau of the mountain Oulerun, home of the High Family and Posluga. Found worthy to serve as one of the later by Chaos, leader of the High Family, Eros looks down on any dragon not of his "brethren". Although his personality constantly shifts, his loyalty to Chaos is the same throughout. Eros is the living personification of Love in the Posluga.
