Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. The former ruler of the city-kingdom of Adrasia of the planet Ba'Oh, Lady Wafal was a love interest of Eyhrit's. He was, however, afraid of revealing his feelings, because of the obvious status differences. She was killed when the planet was destroyed, as she insisted that she stay behind to keep the wormhole open while Eyhrit and his freinds escaped. In parting, she left Eyhrit a music box, which has since become Eyhrit's most prized possession.
