Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whizbur was always an odd dragon. While other of her kind would constantly race one another on the ground, she would take flight. She loved to soar through the skies alone. She relished this peaceful release, and could hardly be kept on the ground. One day though, a flock of sky dragons were passing over her territory and Whiz joined them. She now climbs through the sky with her adopted flock, hardly touching the ground.
