Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dominus Tecum (Latin for "The Lord is With Thee") is the father of the Ave Maria lineage. One of the first dragons in the clan to father a clutch, D.T. is often revered by the other dragons because of this status.

Due to his lithe build and natural flying abilities, D.T. often ventures quite far from the rest of the clan. His spur-of-the-moment disappearing acts coupled with his proclivity for seeking a variety of mates has given him the reputation as a Lothario. As such, he shuns traditional responsibility and prefers to leave the care of his clutch to his mate(s).

Despite his clearly independent nature, it has been repeatedly recorded that when D.T. is not hunting or traveling, he spends most of his free time in the company of a feisty frilled female named Libera.
