Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

When Ooh was a growing dragon in her "teen" year, she was sadly still going around with no proper name other than "that gold dragon" or "that brat", so she appealed to her clan for a more suitable name. When the clan could not think of anything original at the time, she became desperate. Venturing off to human living areas, she decided she will call herself the first thing people say when they first see her.
