Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Flarea was the first Hellfire Wyvern inside the castle, and caused ruckus in her wake. Though Hellfire Wyverns' bad temper is supposedly a learned trait, Flarea kept with the stereotype, baring her teeth and glaring at any who came near to her. It's now common place to see her in the air, claws grappling with another's, or see her fiery blue breath come just shy of a victim's wings. As such her wings are frayed at the edges, and she has a distinct scar on her neck from where the Seragamma, Ember, sunk her teeth in. However, there is one she dares not disobey, though begrudgingly, and that is the Castle Master. Though much mystery shrouds the human, there have been whispers of dangerous, dark things going on in the castle's dungeons. The caverns' occupants speak little about such matters, but there is always a constant warning; those who are sentenced there by her are never seen again. And though the Hellfire Wyvern tries to play it off, she is internally frightened to the core by it.
