Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Foxette is so named for the terrifying story that goes with her. When she was just a hatchling, only just able to walk, a fox sneaked its way into the cave and decided to make a breakfast out of her. The fox couldn't risk carrying her away, but he was sure he had just enough time to shove her into his mouth and then run away. He picked her up with his paws and shoved her into his mouth. As soon as she touched his tongue, his paws began to burn and he suddenly felt queasy. By the time one of the mother dragons noticed what was going on, the fox was already spitting Foxette back up and raving on about how disgusting she was. Foxette, at the time, thought the entire experience was delightful and she giggled the rest of the day.

Now she spends her time chasing foxes just for fun. She still finds them delightful, just not in the same way now that she understands it had tried to eat her. At the end of the chase, she gets to enjoy a nice snack.
