Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blue, along with Lila, a dorsal dragon, is the leader of the group.  And like Lila, he feels the guilt of losing his child. Due to lack of space, the two dragons were forced to abandon the egg before it even hatched.  Blue doesn't know if the egg survived or not, but he remains optimistic about it.  However, he tries not to let it show as he takes his role as leader seriously.  Instead, he uses his loss as a reason to give other hatchlings a chance at life.  Working alongside Alistair to keep order within the cave, Blue delivers discipline to any dragons that fall out of line.
