Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Charu believes Draegen is Draegan's twin because they always do the same things together. However, Charu is honestly unable to truly tell if they are twins as both are cave-born. As a hatchling, Draegen usually did the exact same things Draegan would do. There was always something for the both to do. If it is not chasing each other around, it is pulling pranks on Charz Blued and Blued Charz. However, one day when Draegen was going to stick some rotten animals above the cave where Blued Charz sleeps, she was caught and as punishment, had to catch food for Blued Charz for an entire month so he would not tell Charu. Even after this event, Draegen still pulls pranks on Blued Charz and Charz Blued. However she is way more careful about when they are out and about.
