Mistlet Pygmies thrive in humid environments and are most content when frolicking in the rain or fog. The cheerful demeanor they exhibit provides a remarkable contrast to their shadowy appearance, bringing joy in otherwise gloomy environments. Mistlets are an especially beautiful sight in long summer evenings, as their streak of vibrant scales catch the fading sunlight. They spend a great deal of their time foraging for edible roots and insects, and sometimes enjoy treats in the form of small fish or frogs.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.
User Description
NightNight is a dragon that is constantly saying her name. Mostly because she is constantly going to sleep. One of her more active days was when she decided to stay up for four hours instead of only three. The few hours she manages to stay awake are spread amongst the day in minutes at a time. They mostly happen in the cave. She sleeps in a bed made of flowers and wakes up in time to eat the squirrels that she stores in the crack next to her bed, and then look around to make sure nothing big is happening. Once she is satisfied that there is no danger she goes back to bed for a few hours and then wakes up again when she is hungry. The other dragons say that she is very lazy and a bore but she believes that life should be used to do what you enjoy, the dragons always know when she is going back to bed because every single time she says, "night night."
