Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Shy and serene, Waxing is particularly isolated and careful. She's curious by nature, but feels anxious around new faces. She'll usually approach new groups only to stay just out of sight. Part of this is because of her irrational fear of dirt. Waxing is especially fearful of getting her scales dirty, even though she can grow them back quickly any time they're shed. She is simply racked with discomfort, be is from dirt, noise, or crowds. Yet she consistently watches others with some vain hope that she may interact with them. She seems to want to make friends and fit in with others, but she is simply too anxious and afraid. Even the gentlest approaches tend to frighten her, though she acknowledges how silly this can be. Waxing seems to build some confidence during bright nights, when her scales shine their brightest. She's drawn out by the light of the moons and can't help but dance in the glow. Those who have caught sight of these dances claim they are magnificent.
