Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

During the breeding season, when male Imperial Fleshcrownes perform dances for their intended mates, Kuzumo prefers to take a different approach to the standard performance. Rather than dancing alone, he puts together a dance routine involving two or three other males. The routines have ensemble portions where everyone dances in unison, as well as different "solo" performances from each dragon to showcase their particular skills. Some say that Kuzumo does this to draw attention to his talent for complicated, expressive dance moves that require flexibility, since he doesn't always have the strength for some of the acrobatic leaps and twirls his friends can perform. The truth is actually that Kuzumo gets some pretty extreme stage fright, and feels the most comfortable dancing when he has friends to share the stage and trade the spotlight with. It all works out in the end, since the group performances always attract more watchers than the team members would have gotten individually.
