Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Shining Glow is a kind, yet cautious dragon. She never reveals herself to humans to protect herself. She has heard many tales from other dragons about how cruel some humans can be. Despite this, she still hovers around small human villages. If she sees a human who is good and in need of help she'll give them assistance without being seen. Any human that has seen her has described her as a silver blur of wind that brings good luck.
