Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Choko Murasaki is just like her mother; fun, playful, optimistic and considered one of the cutest hatchlings in the cave. The one thing she lacks, however, is her mother's modesty. She is painfully aware of how cute she is and will often gloat about it. She even considers herself the cutest hatchling in the world, which often annoys the other hatchlings. When she's not admiring herself, though, she can be a nice, well behaved hatchling.
