Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Pharos are an aloof and majestic Xenowyrm that is most often seen gliding through the shimmering skies over the desert. Their gleaming scales catch and reflect the light in a most pleasing manner, and many attempt to find their valuable fallen scales around their lofty desert mountain perches. While they don’t seek out attention or companionship, those seeking the knowledge of a Pharos may find themself bestowed with decidedly unconventional wisdom.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Koi keeps to himself for the most part, but seems to have developed a preference for drifting over the same spots in the desert whenever he's out flying. Perhaps entirely unconsciously, he finds that he is often following the paths of commonly used trade routes that crisscross the desert. He's watched caravans venture from oasis to oasis, becoming utterly charmed by the melodies and rhythms sung by the travelers to keep away evil spirits and grant protection to their party. He's taken to humming some of those tunes as he flies, especially the rowdy work song ballads that always put him in a good mood for some reason. Wisdom-seekers who encounter Koi find that while he's not much interested in philosophy or history, he's always happy to help someone remember the lyrics or the melody of one of the travelers' songs he's committed to memory.
