Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Oyami was originally created and enchanted by the magi dragon Sunsplat to ward intruders away from the clan's eggs. As a scarecrow Oyami leaves something to be desired; despite the numerous enchantments placed upon the paper dragon, Oyami almost never moves and the eggs he watches over continue to get snatched away.
