Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has brightly colored fins on its back.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Whenever dragons are severely injured or even dying, this hatchling is known to appear randomly and yell, "QUICK! GET HIM TO THE POKEMON CENTER!" Though nobody knows what he means by that, or what a 'Pokemon Center' really is, they speculate that such centers are used as some sort of hospital or healing cave. As annoying as this hatchling is, he is really quite useful as an emergency siren, helping white dragons to locate severely hurt clanmates. However, when fed sugar (which he calls a 'Rare Candy'), this hatchling seems to go hyper and teleport to any dragon with even the smallest of cuts and bruises, screaming his familiar alarm at an obnoxiously loud volume. As a result, his clan attempts to keep him away from all of the 'Rare Candy' they can find, though mischievous pygmies have been known to feed him the food and watch him scream all over the camp, irritating everyone and annoying the elders out of their minds.
