Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.
While Voldemort is a white stripe, he wishes he was black and gold, since he's the colour of Hufflepuff house, and he hates it! This dragon wants to build a cult of loyal followers, mainly of the black stripe kind. Seen as cruel and vindictive by those who do not know him well, he is actually rather protective of his kin. Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws best stay clear of this stripe as he's likely to attack them. Green 'Slytherin' stripes on the other hand he's very friendly towards, and seeks to befriend them as long as they're descendants of his good friend, Salazar, or of course, himself.
A dragon who did not like his original mate, he has proved disloyal to her, by producing a Death Eater son with another dragon. He's very proud of that son, and looks forward to spending many years with him.
