When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Keepr3 is a very quiet and majestic water dragon who loves to swim aimlessly in the ocean. She has no care for anything in the world, growing up with no one at all. She finds amusement is swimming close to the shores with just her fins up, leaving fishermen and spectators alike in sheer horror. Sometimes she'll lay back just barely submerged in the water and blow bubbles. Whenever a dragon is in contact with her, she sinks into the water and darts away. It is not that she doesn't like other dragons, she just doesn't understand how to fully communicate or relate with them. Sometimes she'll occasionally pass a strange, deep sea dragon on her adventures but she makes sure to keep her distance.
