Kingcrownes are a mysterious and proud species, possessing some of the most beautiful and reflective scales of all dragons. Despite this, what is sought after most is not their scales, but the silk-like hairs that grow along their head, neck, and elbows. The hairs themselves have a magical shine, and are thought to have powerful healing properties when used in potions. The hairs of a Kingcrowne are even believed to bring good fortune to those who possess them. Though it is obvious that these dragons possess magical abilities, it is still not entirely clear what they are fully capable of. Most of a Kingcrowne’s time is spent grooming itself, keeping its scales and fur in top condition.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A self-proclaimed fine arts appreciator, Toresu keeps an extensive collection of special paints and rare pigments. It all started with an impulse trade, with a wizard exchanging a curious array of paint ingredients for some of her magical hairs. Ever since, Toresu kept collecting the hairs that she would shed naturally, and started exchanging them with court painters who valued the hairs highly for enchanted paintbrushes. For a while, Toresu never thought much of her rare paints collection until she started getting requests from castles and taverns in wealthy districts, seeking to have fantastic murals commissioned with a "dragon's choice" of colors. Toresu was hesitant to share her paints at first, but gradually grew to greatly enjoy her status as a renowned patron of the arts. After all, every establishment offered her a lifetime of free meals and a reserved table, and she quite does appreciate the awed stares and doting attention she receives whenever she makes a trip into town.
