White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When White Sphiea (White Sfee-ia) was a hatchling, he became one of the important members of Gisalfarae:

The Keeper of the Cave. The Keeper guards the ancient Gisalfarae Cave, a cave deep within the frost-covered mountains of Gisalfarae. He is easy to get along with and is very strong and wise. But in the process of becoming the Keeper, he was burned badly by the scorching-hot walls of the cave, and because of this, he has very sensitive paws. This never gets in the way of him being the best father in Gisalfarae and the main character in many Gisalfarae clan legends.

White Sphiea's name means "White Guardian" in Oatpaknu, the ancient, and almost dead, Gisalfarae language.  It is believed that he is most active during the winter months and guides lost children, hatchlings and humans alike, to safety.  To protect his burnt paws against the cold, he wears shoes fashioned from cowhide, given to him by a Akhu.Laha clan elder named Fisieka (Fi-see-ka).
