Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys swimming in a nearby pond.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
"Soak ALL the turnips!" this hatchling can be heard yelling at his fellow hatchling friends. "All of them! We must soak each and every one!" For some reason, this hatchling seems to think that by soaking wild turnips before eating them, something will happen. What exactly, he doesn't know yet, even though he and his gang of loyal followers steal every single turnip from the clan's food storage room, soak them in the water, and return them, bloated and soggy. Maybe eating soaked turnips makes dragons immortal, or maybe it is the cure of all diseases, just waiting to be found. Sadly, however, the adult dragons will never know—for they never eat them soaked, instead drying them and chuckling at the determined hatchlings' foolishness.
