Spotted Teal Drakes can be found in any locale with trees, from temperate forests to jungles, where their color and markings serve as camouflage. They eat mostly plants and large insects, but are opportunistic hunters and scavengers and will climb trees to find bird eggs. Females can be substantially larger than males. Spotted Teals communicate mainly through chirps and other high-pitched noises, though males can produce lower pitched calls to attract mates.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Megakuramu makes her home in the canopy of a tall tree, and she fills her living space with mementos of her hunts and journeys. Specifically, she likes looking for large, colorful beetles in the surrounding area and setting them loose on the tree. Her day is not complete, Megaku insists, if she has not seen at least one bright spot of color amidst the duller greens and browns of the forest. To that end, Megaku can spend ages staring at the same beetle, especially if it has a unique metallic coloration or a wing pattern she has never encountered before. Some foods, Megaku believes, are meant to solely be "eaten with the eyes", and remembered for their beauty rather than their taste.
