Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Right after hatching it excitedly hurried into the water.

And look! It has gotten larger and gained vibrant red markings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Terri, as this little red-finned dragon is known, is quite gentle and sweet. She is a lot like her father Terven, and prefers to listen instead of speaking. She has a quiet sense of curiosity, but unlike her mother Seveeri, Terri does not rush off to satisfy it immediately without being cautious first. Terri's favorite thing to do is to study the hundreds species of sea life that dwell in her reef, and has made a few friends with some friendly seawyrm pygmies.
