Swallowtail Dragons are graceful and quick flyers, much like their namesake bird. They are capable of precise aerial acrobatics, and can reach very high altitudes. Because of this, humans observing these dragons are often astonished at how large they are when confronted up close. A Swallowtail’s diet consists of insects and small mammals plentiful in temperate forests. These dragons are also made remarkable by their paper-thin wing membranes, which allow light to pass through, creating an astonishing effect on starry nights.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. TgaMo is possibly one of the swiftest of his kind; he has never met another dragon that has been able to do tricks in the air as perfectly as he can, though some have come close. When he was a hatchling, he became extremely close friends with HyaVex, another male, and they loved to fly together while talking about anything. For some reason TgaMo never wanted to have children, although he did want a mate. This actually works out for the best, because all the female dragons are either too old, too young, or they already have a mate. But he never felt lonely, because he always had HyaVex by his side. After a while, he realized he had feelings for HyaVex, but he never mentioned it until HyaVex blurted out that he had feelings for him. TgaMo was startled but immediately told HyaVex that he felt the same, and they lived their whole lives together. Eventually TgaMo changed his mind about kids and they adopted a young girl dragon named Hajine. They are good parents, and she is very kind and smart.
