Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kenshigen is not as experienced as his father is, he has inherited his brain... along with some other things. As formidable with a chessboard as he is brute force, Kenshigen is as brave as an eagle and as persistent as an ox. He's so proud of himself, in fact, that his Motivational Speech Syndrome is all the more virulent. Though MSS usually only expresses itself in times of great passion, such as when one has to convince a defeated hero that they have the courage to carry on or when one has defeated a great foe, this Red Stripe can break out into speeches at random. Be it a rainy day, or if an acorn fell from a tree, the situation doesn't matter. Kenshigen can probably talk the hatchlings back into the eggs. Though he has saved many lives in battle by confusing the foe with a spontaneous speech which left them wide open to attack from his allies, some members of his dragon clan like to play Motivational Bingo with prizes offered every week to the winners.
