Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kurtis is a very proud dragon. He demands respect from others and responds violently to those who challenge his nobility. His territory is forcefully guarded by a few ruthless females who have proven themselves worthy of defending him. The general policy for trespassers is either leave very quickly or suffer a fate worse than death. For the most part though, Kurtis doesn't actually do anything. He sits on a throne made of bones and talks as if he is some divine being. Those who are foolish will follow him loyally, believing in false words and a promise of great power.

Thankfully he has no current plans for world domination, but it's definitely something that could come up in that twisted mind of his.
