Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Quegi, a sunrise dragon, has a rare scale condition commonly known as 'double scale disease'. All dragons with the disease grow two scales where there should only be one, and this happens all over their body. What happens is that, like a double hair, one scale grows in the same place as another and scrunches them together until they bend apart at the end, making the dragon look somewhat like a pinecone. Quegi doesn't take his condition very seriously and refuses to let it bother him, despite all of the problems it gives him. For starters, many dragons are ignorant of this disease and isolate him because they think he is a monster and that the disease is contagious when it's actually hereditary. Also, when Quegi flies, his entire body whistles due to the odd placement of the scales and the moving air.
