Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Good water" in Japanese, since his mother thought it was very fortunate that the ocean brought his egg to her family. He was one of the first to be adopted by Kentaro and Kiyomi, and he loves his parents very much. He's very easygoing and loves to joke around, especially with his buddy Kaito. He always figured that he'd eventually fall in love with a Deep Sea or Water dragon. He ended up being dead wrong. His mate, Rie, is a Skywing dragon. She just happened to be flying close to the ocean when he was near the surface, and he thought she was the most gorgeous creature he'd ever seen, so he called out to her. When she came closer, they struck up a conversation. To his great joy, she came back to see him the next day, and the next, and the next. Soon, they had fallen in love, and as unlikely a pair as they are, he asked her to be his mate and make him the happiest dragon in the sea. She agreed, and they're incredibly happy, all because they have each other.
