Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mist is a very serious fog dragon, but he still likes go join Lenapet's dragons who like to fly high in raids. He rarely ever communicates. When he is tired, he likes to fog up his perch and stay there with a hatchling, for company. He sometimes refers to Leafrune and Littlerune as pets, and they don't mind. Mist is the only nice dragon that isn't a healer, anyway. Only Mist can be rather demanding when it comes to Mist's Slave.

But when his 'pets' were frozen by Frostrune, Mist was so angered that he summoned an eternal storm over his perch. He hates Frostrune. A lot. Occasionally he gives her a few smacks when Lenapet isn't looking.

Even though his name does not reflect the rune he represents, he still guards the Rune of Mist and Fog.
