Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Papyrus tends to stay inside the Cave, away from other dragons and the Great Outdoors.  "He" spends his time whittling charcoal "pencils" and writing stories.  Papyrus is very self-criticizing, and although each story is a work of art, he insists on redoing each one.  He also uses ink to create designs on his on body, and each design tells a story.
