Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pompom Sings is the princess of the Rainbow Coast Dragon clan by birth because her mother Pompom Zazzar is the queen and her father Ivy Sings is the king. Pompom Sings is a helpful but vain dragon, and she considers herself the most beautiful dragon in the clan. All the other dragons just conform her theory by only telling her that she is beautiful, to get on her good side, as she has a bad temper. She dislikes the fact that the mate her mother assigned her to already had another mate, and she wishes to find a new mate, and only allow him to have her as a mate. Her first child, Pompom New Dawn, is her pride and joy, and would like to bring more albino dragons from her noble line to the world.
