Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dancer serves as royal mage to the King and Queen of his clan. His job is envied by other dragons of his status, and more than one attempt was made on his life, though he would never admit it. Many would say that one with such a position would want for nothing in life, but Dancer feels that he is incomplete, and thinks that having a mate would fill the space. Against the common sense of others of his kind, he sought the attentions of a delicate but mighty Lava dragon. She, feeling lonely and deserted, accepted his attempts to woo her, and the pair now live together rather happily.
