Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The unofficial leader of 'The Fab Five', Gotheric is the first dragon in Firerubynat's first all-male group and the first primarily-magic user in Firerubynat's grounds. Although he and his current owner are good friends now (mostly due to their bookworm habits), they initially had a rocky start; Firerubynat'd been about to pick up his egg from the abandoned pile near the Cave when his in-built defenses kicked in, giving Firerubynat a scare and a near-miss with several first-degree burns. Luckily for the two of them, his egg ended up being taken, after all, and he is now content with his life, seeking out more knowledge and occasionally engaging in spars and prank wars with the other dragons, in particular the rest of his 'Fab Five' friends.
