Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The night Sogni was born, a new star appeared in the north sky. Her parents affectionately referred to that star as hers.

As she grew, the star grew brighter, distinguishing itself with its radiance. By the time Sogni matured, her star was among the first to appear at night and the last to fade at daybreak.

Sogni enlisted with her mate Gires, entrusting her young daughter with her parents. They were afraid for Sogni, but Sogni didn't want her daughter to grow up in a world of blood and fire. She told them whenever they missed her, all they would have to do is look up at her star and know that she missed them fiercely.

A year passed. Two. Ten and her daughter grew without knowing more of her parents than a faint memory. One day, her daughter looked to the sky and could not find her mother's star. It had faded. The next morning, Gires returned bearing grim news. Her mother was injured and was now comatose. In a world of nothing but dreams. No one knows if she'll ever wake up again...
