Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mathanios Cold, called 'Cold' by the rest of the clan for two reasons. One, he is and ice dragon. Two, he pretty much hates everyone else, in other words, a cold heart. Even the very moment he was born he spent all his time isolated from the others, intentionally. Eventually he started scaring the other hatchlings with harsh tricks or just freezing them half to death. And now that he is an adult, he spends his time terrorizing the hatchlings that come near him, he often freezes them so much they end up sprinting back to their parents for warmth. The dragon he hates the most is Infernnus, the red dragon, who cancels out his 'ice' breath with fire breath.

He doesn't usually share the food he hunts, mostly because he's selfish, but sometimes his food is critisized as being 'undercooked', a lot.
