Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A long time ago, when Fear Glas (FG) was just an egg, she was found all alone in the middle of the forest with no other Terrae dragons in sight. Feabhra saw this poor egg and couldn't bare that she was left behind. She took her back home and put her together with other abandoned eggs.

FG had a very happy childhood. Together with her best friends Clumhach (Pillow) and Sugradh (Ridgewing), she had a lot of adventures, like digging the vegetables out of the garden, stealing cookies from the cupboard (after demolishing the locks, of course), and filling the house with mud after rolling around in it.

Even though she felt never alone with her unusual family, FG always wondered what happened to her biological family, so as soon as she and her foster sister were old enough, they went on a trip to find their lost family.

Sadly, they found out from other dragons that around FG's birth, there was an epidemic that killed off a lot Terrae dragons, including her family.
